A break from battling monsters, saving princesses and barging into villager's houses to steal their money.

Day 2 - A character or scene from your favorite movie
If for some reason you don’t know what this is, it’s the cat bus from My Neighbor Totoro. If you haven’t seen this movie - get off the internet. But seriously, you should watch it because it’s great. And while you’re at it, watch all the rest of the Ghibli films too.
I’ve loved My Neighbor Totoro since I was maybe 4 years old. My aunt used to live in Japan teaching English and she always brought me back movies, tv shows and toys whenever she visited. This was one of the first things I remember her bringing back and it won my heart right away as one of my all-time favorite films.
The cat bus was my favorite. In retrospect it’s actually pretty creepy looking but I thought it was the coolest thing ever when I was a kid. Cats were my favorite animal and just fathoming riding inside of a giant cat bus creature and being invisible to everyone else at the same time blew my little mind.
When I was 15 I went on a trip to Hong Kong and Tokyo and I was lucky enough to get to go to the Ghibli Museum. IT WAS THE COOLEST PLACE I’VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE. Seriously. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend it. Just Google image search Ghibli Museum and you’ll understand what I mean. And the photos don’t even begin to show the awesomeness and wonder that’s in that museum.
Here’s a photo of one playroom they have for kids and IT’S A GIANT PLUSH CAT BUS THAT YOU CAN GO INSIDE OF AND PLAY IN. I wanted to go in it soooo badly but I was too big :’(

Ok, gush moment over.
My point is, definitely watch the movie if you haven’t seen it. Heck, even if you have seen it go watch it again! I’ve seen it at least 20 times. Not even kidding. DO IT.
Love, Gwyn.
